We use artificial intelligence (AI) tools in parts of our work. This page tells you where, so you always know when you see AI-made content or talk to an AI system (EU AI Act, Regulation (EU) 2024/1689, Article 50).
+Images and videos
Some illustrations on this website are made or edited with AI tools. Where an image could be mistaken for a real person, place or event, it is labelled "AI-generated image" where you first see it. We never use AI-made people as testimonials or as our team.
Some videos on this website are made with HeyGen, an AI video tool. The person you see and hear in them, and the voice in each language version, are generated or edited with AI. Each of these videos is labelled "AI video made with HeyGen" under the player.
Other videos on this website are made with AI tools and include short clips of real footage. They are labelled "AI-generated video with clips of real footage" under the player.

Our live chat is answered by people, not by an AI system.
+Decisions about people
We do not use AI to screen, rank or reject job applicants or customers. People make those decisions.
+Texts and translations
We may use AI tools to help draft or translate texts. A person checks everything before we publish it, and we are responsible for it like any other content.

+Specific to The World Can Be Yours
Under each photo in our galleries we show where it comes from: the photographer, the licence and the website it was published on, or the hotel, venue or partner that gave it to us. A photo with no source shown was taken by our own team, and it is protected like the rest of our content.
Many participants in our programmes are under 18. To protect their identity, before we publish a photo that shows them we either blur their faces or replace them with faces made with AI, so that no participant can be recognised. When faces were replaced with AI, the photo says so underneath. Everything else in these photos, the places, the activities and the moment, is real and unchanged.
If you recognise yourself or your child in a photo and would like it taken down, write to privacy@theworldcanbeyours.com and we will remove it.
